I did enjoy it but it did take a bit to get going. Maybe let us walk just a little faster or pick up more than one thing because that one part was a patience tester. Overall though, great job and thanks for allowing us to use the tv filter or not. I have been gaming for many years and I already played the "old" looking games.
I feel like this game took a bit to get started and by the time it did, the game was done. There was alot that could have been done to tie some of the occurrences throughout the night to build on top of each other instead of random outages and appearances from people.
The final "standoff" failure sending you back to delivery was a choice. On top of that, why did we need to mash a button to win when we had a gun?
The actual gameplay had minimal if and any bugs, but the story and design decisions left me feeling disconnected from the game.
I really liked the game! a little tedious not being able to run or change the mouse sensitive, but still! great game, only thing is, that I couldn't figure out the 2nd ending! man, you must give a hint about that or something!
A few things about this game, and I do hate to be critical with indie games considering I do love them, but this is necessary... There's not much direction to get tasks done. Some sort of counter or even a checkoff list would've been pretty cool to keep up. Things also can be easily missed like not getting the gun the first time. Having to rapidly press F to stay alive when confronted by the killer is also pretty cheeks. A game such as this should be more simple. And finally, when you die, you start all the way back at delivering the food to the guests. That is just a lot for someone who's trying to have a chill indie gaming experience. I don't dislike the game, but I feel like it could've been a lot simpler and easier to follow. Nevertheless, I am looking forward to more content and will definitely give it a go!
I personally didn't think it was particularly scary but that doesn't mean I didn't enjoy it. I like how the MacDonald guy is just some regular dude and turns out to not be the villain, although the villain was kind of easy to predict considering how poorly that guy parked his car. Now, two things that would make this a relatively better experience would be to have the ability to sprint and to be able to tweak the sensitivity settings. I only got one ending cause that's what I had time for when I recorded this but it was quite fun to play.
This was an ok horror game. The environment was creepy with how dark and quiet it was. The game was slow at times taking the guest to their room and giving them their dinner. I give this game a 4/5.
Night Reception feels like checking into a retro-flavored fever dream, and honestly, I loved every low-poly, PSX-vibe moment of it! If you've played Night Doner, you'll definitely get the idea—those same nostalgic visuals are back for round two.
The story? It was pretty solid, but I was hoping for a twist that hits a bit differently. That said, I downloaded the game before the update dropped, so a couple of bugs crashed the party early on.
What really stole the show for me, though, were the two surprise cameos. Overall, the game was a fun stay! And oh, there's two endings to this.

Game was fun, I really didn't like Damien. Which I guess makes him a really well done character. Game needs a check point after you leave room 12 as the food delivery part is a big pain. Also having to press space to get through the text didn't always work, especially during the food delivery part where when your going through a second time and trying to skip the text. Other than that the game was good. Keep up the good work.
